Job description
We are looking for an experienced Low-Code Solution Architect (all genders) who designs, develops, and technically leads modern enterprise applications based on leading low-code platforms. In this role, you shape the architecture, solution design, and implementation of demanding low-code applications in close collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.
As part of our Business Automation Center of Excellence, you work in an interdisciplinary, international team and drive the digitization of our customers with scalable, high-quality solutions.
Your tasks

Architecture, design, and end-to-end responsibility for low-code solutions on platforms such as Mendix, OutSystems, Appian, or Microsoft Power Apps.

Analysis of business and technical requirements as well as development of sustainable solution and integration architectures.

Responsibility for the entire application lifecycle: Requirements engineering, data and domain modeling, technical specification, implementation, testing, deployment, as well as operation/support.

Technical leadership of developer teams, conducting code and architecture reviews.

Close collaboration with product owners, business analysts, project managers, and other architects in agile delivery teams.

Ensuring best practices, security standards, scalability, and reusability within the low-code platforms.

Participation in strategic architecture decisions and further development of the low-code technology landscape.
Requirements
- Completed education in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable field (HF/FH/Uni/ETH or equivalent).
- At least 6 years of proven experience in development or architecture on low-code platforms such as Mendix, OutSystems, Appian, or Microsoft Power Apps.
- Deep understanding of software architecture, integrations (APIs, REST, data models), cloud deployment, and security/compliance aspects.
- Experience in enterprise environments as well as in building scalable, reusable modules and components.
- Very good German skills (at least C1) as well as good English skills.
- Strong communication and analytical skills, high customer orientation, and enjoyment of cross-team collaboration.
