Tasks
- Analyze and resolve software-related issues in client environments.
- Implement software changes and enhancements in Java for WAMAS.
- Conduct training sessions and maintain technical documentation., Support and troubleshooting: Analysis of support cases, classification, and independent resolution of software-related problems in the customer environment
Software development and problem solving: Independent analysis and implementation of change requests on the WAMAS software solution in Java
Technical documentation and change request management: Creation of technical solution descriptions and calculation of efforts for change requests based on customer requirements
Implementation and maintenance: Continuous maintenance of existing software solutions
Training and knowledge transfer: Conducting internal and external training sessions in the course of change requests
Completed technical training in a relevant field, such as computer science, electronics, or automation technology
Requirements
- Technical education in IT, electronics, or automation technology required.
- Experience in software development with Java or C#.
- Fluent in German and English; French is a plus., University degree (FH or HF) in computer science, electrical engineering, systems engineering, or a similar field
Experience in software development with Java or another object-oriented programming language (e.g., C#)
Experience with relational databases (ideally even Oracle) and Linux operating systems is an advantage
Very good German and English skills, French skills are an advantage
