Tasks
- Lead software and IT customer projects for WMS and MFS.
- Ensure timely and successful project delivery with quality results.
- Collaborate with sales to create tailored customer solutions., Head of Software / IT Customer Projects for our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Material Flow System (MFS)
Responsibility for the technical, economic, and timely realization of your projects
Leading a project team in the matrix organization
Co-designing customer solutions in collaboration with sales and project planning - from requirements gathering to contract conclusion
Preparation of calculations and offers for our WMS and MFS
Ensuring a smooth project start by reviewing the offer for the scope of delivery to be implemented and the underlying calculation
System analysis of the logistics processes and creation of the functional specification in close exchange with the customer
Proactive project management through coordination, controlling, and expectation management
Responsibility for commissioning the system, successful go-live, and production support
Ensuring the quality of project results, especially regarding system performance and availability
Requirements
- FH or HF degree in IT, engineering, or similar field required.
- Experience in IT project management for logistics or software solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential., University of Applied Sciences or Advanced Federal Diploma in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or comparable education
Several years of experience as an IT project manager for the implementation of business and/or logistics processes in software solutions; we are also happy to consider career changers from software consulting or programming
Ideally PM certification (IPMA) and experience in the intralogistics, industrial automation, or plant engineering industry
Familiarity with agile working methods according to Scrum
Fluent in German and good English skills (B1/B2), additional languages are an advantage
Analytical approach and solution-oriented, structured working style
Entrepreneurially acting, proactive, and team-oriented personality with a high result orientation
Strong customer orientation and very good communication skills
Willingness to travel mainly within Switzerland
