Job description
A position is announced for a Research Technician (T3) level 2. 16T (Data Scientist) to carry out the project: "Creation of the Valencian Health Data Ecosystem by Integrating the Clínico-Malvarrosa, Gandía, and Sagunto Health Departments (INTEGRA-DPs)", within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan - Funded by the European Union - Next Generation EU. Under the direction of Dr. Josep Redón.
Job responsabilities:
Coordination with the departments of ASI Valencia - Norte (Clínico, Gandía, and Sagunto) for the following tasks:
- Monitoring the loading and integration of large volumes of clinical data, ensuring quality, relevance, and consistency, as well as resolving issues during data filtering and processing.
- Liaison with IT and management personnel from the different hospitals.
Coordination of tasks related to the semantic model (OMOP, FHIR, etc.) and definition of ontological relationships:
- Standardization of all data to a common data model to ensure harmonization and standardization of clinical data according to OMOP (structures, vocabularies, and domains).
- Supervision of the implementation of OHDSI ecosystem tools (ATLAS) for analysis and validation.
Coordination of telemedicine activities, promoting the development of a useful and sustainable tool.
Other tasks:
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams (health authorities, healthcare professionals, managers, ICT specialists, etc.) to ensure interoperability of clinical data.
- Documentation, monitoring, and quality assurance of data, ensuring traceability and consistency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Administrative work related to the technical tasks to be developed.
Requirements
Bachelor Degree or equivalent, 1.1 PhD or Official Master Degree in Data Science (of at least 60 ECTS credits or the equivalent in hours), related to the functions of the position. (If held, 15 points), 2.1-Knowledge of the English language: Level (B1: 2 points); (B2: 3 points); (C1: 4 points); (C2: 5 points) ( Up to 5 points)
3.-Merits related to professional experience and skills related to the job offer 3.1 Proven professional experience in data analysis within research projects related to Big Data, population data interoperability, or Artificial Intelligence. (15 points per year worked, up to a maximum of 30 points. Periods of less than one year will be prorated by full months) 3.2 Advanced proficiency in techniques and/or software related to the tasks to be performed (PostgreSQL, Apache Airflow, Apache Superset, Docker, Apache Zeppelin). (5 points per accredited technique/software up to a maximum of 25 points) 3.3 Authorship in research outputs: participation in research projects and/or clinical studies, conference presentations, scientific articles, poster presentations, etc. (2.5 points per publication/communication up to a maximum of 5 points)

- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent, in accordance with current curricula. (MECES 2. EQF6)
- Possess the physical and mental capabilities and aptitudes necessary for the performance of the corresponding functions or tasks, which will beaccredited by the applicant through a responsible statement at the time of applying to the job offer.
- Spanish nationality, a work permit, or any other nationality that allows access to employment in the public sector. If the selected person does nothave this and is selected, the contract will not be formalized until the corresponding documentation is in order. If this process cannot becompleted within the deadline established by the Evaluation Committee, the final candidate cannot be hired; in this case, the position will be leftvacant or the next person in order of preference will be hired if such an order has been established in the Resolution.
- To be at least 16 years old and not exceed the maximum age for forced retirement or any other age that may be established by law.
- Not be subject to any incompatibility that prevents the performance of duties under the General regime with an entity belonging to the publicsector. This requirement will be accredited by a responsible statement.
- Not be disqualified by a final judgment from performing functions similar to those of the professional category or group to which access issought. In the case of nationals of other states, not be disqualified or in an equivalent situation in the same terms in their State that preventsaccess to public employment. This requirement will be accredited by a responsible statement.
- In case of being a former employee of INCLIVA, not have been properly dismissed for disciplinary reasons.
- In case of being a former employee of INCLIVA, have passed the trial period for the related position.
Candidates must necessarily meet each and every one of these minimum requirements, as otherwise they will be automatically excluded from the selection process.
