We are recruiting for a Business Support Coordinator
Are you passionate about supporting operational excellence and driving business success through effective coordination and administration? Müller Milk & Ingredients Distribution is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Support Coordinator to join our Logistics team at our Manchester Depot . This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods into our supply chain, supporting operational excellence through strong administrative, analytical, and communication skills.
- Location : Manchester Depot (M17 1TU)
- Contract : Full-time | Permanent
- Competitive salary : (paid monthly)
- Shift Pattern : Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
What You'll Do As a key member of the site support team, you will : *
- Coordinate payroll, HR admin, time & attendance, and holiday tracking
- Manage agency bookings, timesheets, and invoice reconciliation
- Process purchase orders and ensure accurate financial tracking
- Support training delivery on core systems and processes
- Create and distribute key reports (H&S, STARTS, Airsweb, KPIs)
- Lead by example in health & safety and promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Manage office facilities, hospitality, uniforms, PPE, and reception duties
- Maintain internal communications (notice boards, newsletters)
- Investigate credit control claims and support problem-solving initiatives
- Drive OE (Operational Excellence) projects and collaborate across teams
- Support with H&S initiatives and wellbeing initiatives.
Requirements
- Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or business support roles (inbound logistics preferred).
- Strong organisational, coordination and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- A team player with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Basic understanding of Health & Safety principles
