Job description
As a Senior Associate within our Fixed Income team, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity, consistency, and reliability of the data that powers our indices. The role focuses on data validation, structured analysis of fixed income instruments, and strengthening data control frameworks across teams., * Monitor and validate the data used for fixed income index selection and calculation, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Perform structured validation and reconciliation of pricing, reference data, and instrument characteristics
- Manage and execute periodic index rebalances, ensuring correct implementation of methodology and accurate data inputs
- Analyze and process corporate actions and assess their impact on index composition and performance
- Investigate and resolve data inconsistencies, identifying root causes in collaboration with Data and IT teams
- Monitor data flows and dependencies to ensure consistency across systems and vendors
- Develop and enhance processes and controls to continuously improve data quality
- Support internal stakeholders with data-driven analysis and reporting
Requirements
Do you have experience in SQL?, Are you passionate about financial data quality and fixed income instruments? Do you enjoy working with large datasets, identifying inconsistencies, and building robust data validation processes?, If you are analytical, detail-oriented, and motivated to build resilient data processes in a dynamic financial environment, you will fit well into our team., * Academic degree in mathematics, finance, economics, computer science, engineering, or a related quantitative field
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in fixed income, indexing, or financial data management
- Strong understanding of fixed income instruments and data fields (e.g., bond characteristics, pricing conventions, accrued interest, duration, corporate actions)
- Solid Python and SQL skills and experience working with large structured datasets
- Proven experience in data validation, reconciliation, and control-driven processes
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and a structured approach to problem solving
- Ability to independently investigate issues and collaborate effectively with Data, IT, and Product teams
- Experience with financial data vendors (e.g., FactSet, Refinitiv, ICE) is an advantage
- Fluent in English (German is a strong plus)
- Legal authorization to work in Germany
