Platform Security Engineer (Infrastructure) - AI

We're supporting a major enterprise client with the build-out of a secure AI engineering and deployment capability and are looking for a Platform Security Engineer (Infrastructure) to help secure the underlying platform components that support Claude Code and wider AI tooling usage.

This is a hands-on infrastructure security role focused on building, configuring and maintaining the core security controls around AI platform deployment. You'll be working across API gateways, secrets management, network security controls, monitoring integrations, infrastructure automation and incident response, helping ensure AI services are deployed in a secure, scalable and enterprise-ready way., * Deploy and manage the enterprise API gateway for Claude Code and AI-related traffic

• Configure and operate HashiCorp Vault or equivalent for secure API key life cycle management
• Implement and maintain network security controls, including Proxy configuration, Firewall rules, TLS inspection and mTLS
• Build automation for API key rotation, access provisioning and revocation
• Maintain infrastructure-as-code for AI security components using Terraform, Ansible or similar
• Support SIEM integrations, log pipelines and monitoring controls for AI platform visibility
• Respond to infrastructure-level security incidents related to Claude Code and associated AI services

• Strong experience in platform security, infrastructure security or DevSecOps
• Hands-on experience with API gateway technologies such as Kong, AWS API Gateway or Apigee
• Strong experience with secrets management tooling such as HashiCorp Vault or AWS Secrets Manager
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes/container security
• Strong networking background including TLS, mTLS, proxies and Firewall policy
• Experience writing and maintaining Terraform, Ansible or equivalent infrastructure automation
• Scripting capability with Python and/or Bash
• Familiarity with SIEM integration and log pipeline engineering

Desirable:

• Cloud security certifications across AWS, Azure or GCP
• Experience supporting secure deployment of AI/LLM platforms
• Exposure to enterprise security controls around developer tooling or internal AI services
